Who We Are

Andrea Rosario is the owner of Trans Engineering and has been certified as a Chartered Marine Engineer (CMarEng) since 1986.

He owned and operated a small business for twenty-seven years in Christchurch, New Zealand before moving to the United States of America in 2016. Andrea has decades of experience in the design and build of the basic structure of ships and boats; designing and supervising construction of aircraft carriers, submarines, sailboats, and tankers; developing sectional and waterline curves of hulls to establish centers of gravity.

Adept in establishing arrangement of boiler room equipment and propulsion machinery; operating or supervising the operation of marine machinery on ships; selecting materials and writing specifications for suppliers and construction workers; designing cargo space, passenger
compartments, ladder wells and remodeling vessels.

Deft in handling records and machinery status logs on vital plant equipment and ensuring spare parts inventory; operating, maintaining and overseeing machinery, engineering equipment and vessel systems; ensuring safe and efficient operations of marine engineering functions.

Skilled in preparing layouts, technical drawings and schematics of ship systems; inspecting, testing and evaluating marine machinery and equipment in the areas of performance, operation, and environmental impact; ensuring that all machinery tests are in compliance with regulations.

Andrea exhibits a desire to experience new cultures and environments as working in the holistic field of marine engineering across continents is his true passion.
